Full-fibre broadband provider 4th Utility has marked its sixth birthday by winning one of the UK’s most prestigious customer service awards.
Going head-to-head with many of the country’s biggest, most well-established brands, the firm was awarded Gold in the Best On-Site Customer Experience category at the UK Customer Experience Awards.
The recognition marks another key achievement in the firm’s growth journey, and came in the week it celebrated its sixth anniversary.
The 4th Utility team were honoured for their ambitious project to make full-fibre broadband available to the underserved area of Greenwich, London. The business’ biggest ever project, it included a dedicated on-site customer engagement strategy – overcoming numerous challenges to deliver a fast reliable service bolstered by a market-leading social tariff, aimed at helping overcome the UK’s digital gap.
The glittering awards ceremony took place at London’s Wembley Stadium and was attended by brands such as Network Rail, Legal & General, Suzuki and Metro Bank.
The firm’s Consumer CEO Steve Wilson said: “We are absolutely delighted to have received such a prestigious award.
